WELL CONTROL TRAINING

IWCF & IADC WELLSHARP

This course is designed to fulfill the requirements set by IWCF for Surface and Combine Stack qualification.

The IWCF Training program is designed for critical position holders in wthe curriculum approved by IWCF.

Candidates will gain a comprehensive knowledge of Well Control theory and master the practical skills required to apply this knowledge to most well control situations.

Successful completion of the course and examination will result in IWCF Well Control Level 3 or Level 4 certification (valid for two years).

COURSE CONTENT:

Well Barriers, Roles & Responsibilities, Well Control Definitions & Concepts, Kick Tolerance, Kick Causes, Shallow Gas, Well Control Preparation, Well Shut-in Procedures, Gas Behaviours, Well Control Procedures, Vertical vs Deviated Well Control, Well Control Equipment

TARGET AUDIENCE

Level 2: – Assistant Drillers, Derrickmen, OIMs, Mud Engineers and MudLoggers

Level 3: – Drillers, Assistant Drillers, Derrickman, OIMs, Mud Engineers

IADC BEHAVIOR BASED SAFETY

Behavior- Based Safety (BBS), is often described as a bottom- up approach (front-line employees), with top-down support from safety leaders.

IADC RIGPASS

Completion of an IADC RigPass program confirms that personnel have met basic requirements defined by safety and training professionals in the drilling industry, irrespective of the rig’s location.

IADC STUCK PIPE

This course is designed to address preventive measures to prevent the occurrence of stuck pipe or at least minimize its frequency, the full spectrum of monitoring, diagnosis, and resolution will be addressed. The student will leave this course fully mindful of the importance of adhering to best practices in all aspects of the well construction process.

IADC H2S AWARENESS

This course has been designed for all personnel who risk exposure to hydrogen Sulphide contamination at work. After completing this course, you will be able to take correct emergency response to an H2S Leak.

IADC PERMIT-TO-WORK (PTW)

This course is intended to people in charge of divisional units to ensure that a safe system of work is in place for maintenance work, small or short term projects where previously hazardous conditions have been identified. A permit to work system will be required to ensure no worker is subjected to any significant risk, and also in fulfilling legal obligations under the Health and Safety At Work.

EPS ARYNDO ACADEMY is Tempat Uji Kompetensi (Competency test site) which is accreditated by BNSP and able to organizing assesment and certification for various type of BNSP Programs.
